We certainly had a stellar week!
Sunday Katy Miller arrived and announced the awesome news that we had been OK'd to do the Stock Show Contest. We posted and handed out flyer's!
Monday was the Performance and the small fry division. We worked hard Sunday night and Monday to put our performance together since the Clogger's had cancelled. Josh Made The first cut in the small fry's, We played that night and all went well. The older kids made it happen with their creativity and hard work!
Tuesday was the JR JR Division... everyone played great! Julia went on to playing the second round!
Josh played in the second round of the small fry's and then went on to the final round!

Congrats to Josh for getting 5th place!

Friday the Seniors played.
Also on Friday Mark O'Connor Arrived and presented a workshop and a performance.
We performed our National Anthem which was awesome and very well received by the audience!
Mark played in the auditorium and then proceeded to the camp ground to jam.
What an honor is was to have him stop in at Carterville and play a few tunes.
Tony Ludiker joined in to Back him up as Randy Buzan and other member's of Carterville sat in on guitar.
This was truly a memory to be cherished!

Friday was also Zona's Birthday! Mark gave her an autograph and a birthday wish!
Mark's Father also attended and stayed a while as Mark went on to visit other's in the camp ground.

We Shared Birthday cake with Marks Father and pleasant conversation.

Keep up the hard work and you will reach your goals!
We all shared in a truly special experience this year...the camp was calm and inviting. We received much recognition and praise. We should feel proud of our conduct and our achievements. We made new friends and shared times with old friends. We demonstrated support for each other as well as our Weiser friends. It is wonderful how we could all work together at camp and in performance to make our group visible as a positive entity at Weiser. I am so very proud and honored to have you as my friends!
Thank You!
